Request Disaster Volunteers

The Anne Arundel County Volunteer Center identifies community needs and matches them with registered volunteers. We refer volunteers to support community-based organizations in their disaster response efforts. We are focused on placing volunteers to meet the needs of our partners and maximize the impact of volunteer support.

We accept volunteer needs from our community service partner organizations. To get started, if you are not already registered, please register as a partner. Complete and submit the brief on-line registration to the Volunteer Center. We will process your organization request and provide you information on how you can become one of our Premier Partners so that you can post volunteer opportunities.

If you are a registered Premier Partner, please log-in to your account to post your opportunities. If you need assistance from us to post your volunteer opportunities, please email the Volunteer Center at info@aacvc.org or call 410-897-9207.

Keep in mind:

  • We cannot guarantee that all volunteer requests will be filled.
  • Once referred, volunteers are the responsibility of the requesting organization.
  • Please track volunteer hours.  This information is critical for meeting FEMA match requirements after a declared disaster.
