The Recreation & Parks Dept. offers a wide variety of recreational and leisure time activities for the entire family. We serve Annapolis area residents with diverse, affordable, high-quality recreational and leisure time activities in safe, modern, well-maintained facilities and parks. Throughout the year Annapolis Recreation and Parks seek volunteers to help make their programs possible and most importantly, successful. Whether through special events, programs or in facilities, there are many opportunities to get involved. Please note: All volunteers working with children and patrons of ARPD must by background checked. Volunteer training is provided, and sometimes required, for the Department's programs and events.
