VOLUNTEER CENTER -- BOARD MEMBER
The Volunteer Center is looking to expand its Board of Directors with 2-3 additional board members who can be focused on helping us with marketing/branding and fundraising.
The Volunteer Center is a connector organization, supporting over 370 non-profit partners with volunteer recruitment efforts. Because we help non-profits that help those in need in our community and not those in need directly, fundraising can be a challenge. Further, despite many outreach efforts, most county residents are not aware of our existence and mission.
We need individuals who can spend 4-8 hours per month spearheading our efforts in these areas and who can open doors with area businesses and other potential supporters. Helping us with outreach events is always appreciated as well.
Board meetings are once a month, typically from 8:30am-9:30am on the fourth Wednesday of the month and can be attended via teleconference. Committee meetings related to marketing and fundraising can be scheduled at the convenience of the committee members.
