The Anne Arundel County Food and Resource Bank, located in Crownsville, distributes food, nutritional supplements, medical equipment, furniture. vehicles, appliances, clothing and other necessities to Anne Arundel County residents in need.
Are you very observant? The Food Bank needs a volunteer to inspect each of its pantries to ensure that food is being handled properly, the pantry is clean, and that proper procedures are being followed. The Food Bank works with about 80 pantries. NOTE: The purpose of the inspection is help the pantry. If deficiencies are found, the Food Bank will help the pantry correct the deficiency. Training and checklists will be provided. In coordination with the pantries, you set your own schedule. The goal is two inspections on the average per week.
